Ned Carpenter

Ned Carpenter is a member of Axum’s advisory board.   Mr. Carpenter brings over 34 years of operating experience to Axum.  He was the former chairman and chief executive officer of PORTA‑JON of the Piedmont, Inc.   At PORTA-JON, Mr. Carpenter successfully led the firm’s operations and overall strategic direction, including executing an effective acquisition strategy resulting in the ultimate successful sale of the company in 2007 to Prometheus Partners, a middle-market private equity firm.  Mr. Carpenter remains active in various industry associations and served as the chairman of Portable Sanitation Association International in 1999. Prior to joining PORTA-JON, Mr. Carpenter was the corporate controller for E.L. Lowie. Mr. Carpenter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Belmont Abbey College and is a Certified Public Accountant.
